The course first opened for play in 1959. The course was designed by Fred Findlay.

Meadowbrook is a classically designed parkland golf course with contoured fairways, tight landing areas, and small well-bunkered greens. Proper course management is a must and the layout places a premium on accurate shots. The fast greens require patience and good touch.
